I would definitely see the magic show at Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. The magician, John Lee is half Korean and Japanese, my old friend. During the magic show, you get to see the hula dances, the fire dances and packed with Hawaiian night entertainment. If you pay a little more, you'll be served with dinner, too.
Any hotel in Waikiki would be fine. It's not a big area. Any hotel near Internation Market Place(there are a lot of Korean ajumma working here) is fine.
